KANE COUNTY BAR FOUNDATION
TO GO “SPINNING THROUGH THE DECADES” AT ANNUAL GALA
SATURDAY, MARCH 1
The Kane County Bar Foundation is pleased to announce it will host its Eleventh Annual Gala Dinner, with all net proceeds going to support the many programs of the Foundation. The Gala will be held on Saturday evening, March 1, 2008, at the Historic Hotel Baker, 100 West Main Street, St. Charles, with cocktails to begin at 6:00 p.m., and dinner at 7:30 p.m.
In celebration of the Kane County Bar Association’s 150th anniversary this year, the Gala features a “Spinning Through the Decades” theme. A professional disc jockey will play dance music –starting with the 1940s- as guests dance through history on the Rainbow Room floor.
The Foundation’s programs addressing the legal needs of the Kane County Community include the Children’s Waiting Room at the Kane County Judicial Center, the Annual Law Day High School Mock Trial Program, and financial support for local legal services.
The Gala will also feature the announcement of the Foundation’s Annual Pro Bono Award Recipient, in order to celebrate the efforts of a local attorney in providing free legal services to the community.
Tickets for the black tie-optional event are $150 per person, and tables for groups of eight are encouraged. Advance reservations are required. Those interested in attending should contact Jan Wade at the office of the Kane County Bar Foundation director@kanecountybar.org, or (630) 762-1900.
