NIU Public Interest Law Society Hosts 19th Annual Auction
DeKalb – The Northern Illinois University College of Law Public Interest Law Society will host the 19th Annual PILS Auction on April 4, 2014.
For the last 19 years, PILS has worked tirelessly to raise money that benefits both law students and the public good. The money is used to fund the Summer Outreach Assistantship Program. Students working unpaid internships in public interest law may qualify for some financial assistance.
A silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and cocktails will begin at 5:00pm in Marshall Gallery of Swen Parson Hall on NIU’s campus. The live auction portion of the evening will begin at 7:30pm.
Consider making a donation to this year’s Auction! Your support can be shown by contributing items to be auctioned, contributing cash toward a larger item to be purchased, donating directly to the PILS Outreach Assistantship Fund, or taking out an ad in our auction program.
