Taxation has an effect on almost every area of the law. The Tax Law Committee will address all areas of federal, state and local taxation. This committee will also work with young lawyers to mentor them in all areas of taxation so that they can better understand this area of law.
Some of the issues the committee will focus on include:
Federal income tax
Corporate tax
Estate and gift tax
Foreign tax
Pass through entities
Procedure and litigation
Real estate taxation
State and local taxes
This committee generally meets on the 2nd Friday of the month, Quarterly, at Noon at the KCBA Office.
