Lisle law firm seeking an attorney with at least 3 years of municipal/local government experience, preferably including labor and employment law practice experience to join an established, well-respected firm that focuses on local government, municipal, small business, public safety, first responders, and corporate clients. Attorneys will work closely with shareholders and partners and will receive hands-on mentoring and training. General municipal, special district, and public employment experience is highly valued. Candidates must have excellent research and writing skills. Compensation range varies depending on experience with a minimum of $100,000 (for newly licensed attorneys) plus benefits including health and short term and long-term disability insurance, 401k plan with employer contribution, and paid time off.
Qualifications:
3+ Years of experience
Ability to commute to Lisle office daily (some remote work may be possible)
Effective oral and written interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with technology
Ability to travel around Chicagoland and throughout Illinois as necessary
Attention to detail
Quick learner who is willing to learn new skills and areas of law
Willingness to collaborate with others and support colleagues through schedule conflicts
