For all security passes:
- You must be current with the ARDC
- Passes cannot be issued until the ARDC has noted licensure for the ID “year” through their website or your card
- all passes issued will expire on January 31, 2023
Security passes are now available for online renewal and in person at the office.
For Kane County only renewal security passes, you will need to fill out the Renewal Form and return to firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a $20.00 fee for the Kane County Security Pass. On the form, please indicate your payment method and your request will be processed. These passes are only valid in Kane County. A sticker will be mailed at the end of January to apply to your current pass. If you are getting a Kane County security pass for the first time, you must visit the KCBA office in person. Walk-ins are welcome during office hours. M – Th 8:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 3pm.
For DuPage County security passes an online process is available through their website at: www.dcba.org/courtID. There is a $25.00 fee for the renewal of a DuPage County Security Pass(using your current transponder) and $35.00 for a new pass. The DuPage County security pass will get entrance into both the DuPage and Kane County courthouses.
DuPage County passes are no longer available through the Kane County Bar Association.
For a first time security pass:
You must have a current ARDC card to get a security pass.
